Child Safety Standards Policy

Effective Date: May 2026

1. Overview

FriendMap is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users, with a strict zero-tolerance policy towards Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). This policy outlines our standards and procedures for preventing, detecting, and responding to such content and behavior on our platform.

2. Zero Tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

CSAE refers to any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, but is not limited to, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or other forms of sexual exploitation. CSAM refers to any visual depiction involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

FriendMap explicitly prohibits the uploading, sharing, storing, or distribution of CSAM and any behavior that promotes or facilitates CSAE. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate account termination, reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or other appropriate law enforcement authorities.

3. Reporting and In-App Feedback Mechanism

We encourage our users to immediately report any suspected CSAE or CSAM content they encounter. You can report concerns directly within the FriendMap app using our in-app reporting tool, accessible through the settings or by flagging specific interactions. Alternatively, you can contact us immediately via email at arun@communitybuild.xyz.

4. Addressing Violations and Compliance

Upon receiving actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE on our platform, FriendMap will take immediate and appropriate action in accordance with our published standards and relevant laws. This includes the removal of the illicit content, preserving necessary data for law enforcement, and terminating the offending accounts. FriendMap fully complies with all applicable child safety laws globally.

5. Child Safety Point of Contact

If you represent law enforcement, a regulatory body, or have general inquiries regarding our child safety practices, you can reach our designated Child Safety Point of Contact directly at arun@communitybuild.xyz.
